The Real Estate Investor Academy stands on more than 50 years of experience in real estate investing, real estate finance and teaching interested parties how to use our vast experience to make big profits in their own real estate investment business.

The Academy was founded for the purpose of providing everything an investor needs to enjoy a continuously growing success in their investment activities.

The Academy is lead by Merwin Coad and Jerry Cohen.

Merwin Coad

Merwin is a full-time expert real estate investor and consultant, and more importantly, he is a real estate instructor and mentor. Merwin is also a former U.S. Congressman who served in the House of Representatives.

While he served his country, he was part of the Committee of Banking & Currency and helped re-write the laws which govern FHA and VA home mortgage financing.

For more than 30 years, Merwin Coad has used creative investment methods in real estate, particularly in the buying and selling of properties without using ANY of his own money or credit on the transaction. Earlier in his career, Merwin Coad applied the techniques of “no money down” and even lectured and instructed the nationally known seminar;

“HOW TO BUY REAL ESTATE WITH $10 DOWN AND BECOME WEALTHY IN YOUR SPARE TIME”

and others like it, to tens of thousands of Americans throughout the years. It was this extensive experience with creative techniques that resulted in the development of this new and powerful program.

Merwin Coad developed and organized the program;

Merwin is dedicated to sharing this valuable information with students all around the country, and as a result, he has hand-picked a group of his students to help him accomplish this goal.

Merwin is the author of many of the e-courses, ebooks, mentoring/coaching and the forms and contracts.

Merwin is the founder of The American Dream Alliance; an organization of real estate investors to promote and assist in real estate investing.

Jerry Cohen

Jerry started his business career in Merchandizing in the late '70's, buying and selling luxury automobiles using none of his own money!
Jerry has taken several "start up" businesses with at most $365 in cash to multi million dollar corporations in as little as 5 years!!

Jerry's real-estate career started in the early 80's with a "No Money Down" owner financed purchase of a 2 unit apartment building. Since then Jerry has never looked back! Jerry has used just about every technique there is in building his real-estate portfolio which ultimately included several hundred properties.

More than 400 pieces of real property bought and sold realizing huge benefits for the buyers and sellers in cash and terms construct.
In the mid 90's Jerry turned his experience into the buying and selling of "cash starved" communication business. A recent "deal" was,

A business with over $200 million in sunk investment and an asking price of $20 million bought for $925,000! The seller financed 60% of that!!

Jerry is also Sales and Marketing Consultant. and a,

"Deal Negotiator"

Buyers and Sellers often leave huge value “on the table” resulting from poor or absent negotiating ability. Countless companies are financially distressed or on the brink of insolvency or even bankruptcy. These businesses can often be pulled back from the brink or liquidated under more favorable terms with a third party “negotiator”, Jerry chargers 0 to 1% up front and only receives payment on "Value Added" performance!!
